I was a part of the very first nutrition challenge a few years ago, so many aspects were not new. Types of protein options, portions, and tracking were already learned but definitely not perfected. Personally, I was challenged to find balance and self- love. I was so challenged with over whelming stress and frustration that what I really needed the most help just to get down to basics so that I could reprioritize my own self and well- being. I distinctly remember meeting with Kaleb where we just walked around the gym. A casual stroll talking about our own challenges and walls that get in our way. I will always remember what he said to me when I was stretched thin and felt limited to who to reach out to. "There are lots of people at the gym willing to love you. You just need to let them in." It made a connection with me. Helped me realize and focus more on myself. Gave me clarity for my personal health and nutrition. That's something I wasn't necessarily looking for with a nutrition coach, but I realized I needed it.
